Mark-making, texture, transparency, geometry, and organic gestures inform the visual language of the designs. The patterns are inspired by the abstraction of traditional textile motifs, the impressionistic representations of nature and the spontaneous details of artistic expression. The Artwork and CAD compositions are crafted from original drawings, paintings, photography, mixed-media, collage, and printmaking.

The designs are conceived for a variety of products including woven, print and digitally produced textiles and wallcovering, decorative objects and unique surface applications.
